Those of you who have long wished to be able to export files from Lightroom while preserving the folder hierarchy (or tree) can now rejoice! I’ve just released a new plug-in, LR2/TreeExporter, that does exactly this.
Offering a convivial interface with real time examples that demonstrate what’s going to happen, the plug-in is user friendly and easy to understand.

Happy exporting!
Excellent. That has always been a pain..
Finally! Thanks!
Tim, this plugin looks really great! Can’t wait to try it out.
Thanks for all you do for the Lightroom community… your Lightroom plugins are excellent!

Tim,
Excellent plugin….just what I was looking for. I tend to have all my dng files on set of drives (Mirrored) and all my jpg’s on another set of drives (mirrored) with the same directory structure so this will help me a lot. Thank your for your LR community involvement.
I organise my files by date shot, and use collections to make logical groupings. Eg. i have a job with 3 smart collections in a set to group 5 star, 4 star, and 3 star images. I want to now export these images to disk but replicate the hierarchy on a single top-level export. Are you able to integrate this into the plugin, or is there already a solution?
thankyou

Do you mean export the collection hierarchy as opposed to the folder hierarchy? That’s not currently possilble, the SDK doesn’t provide access to this information.
